What is Uwemi
What is Uwemi?
You probably have at least three social profiles: Facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo, Flickr, Twitter… the list goes on and on. Many of us have thousands of friends on these platforms, yet there is no single way of seeing where these people come from, so even if you wanted to, you could not tell for sure how many of them live in your town, or in the next big city.
This is where Uwemi can help.
Uwemi is the pioneer of Web 3.0, the social platform of tomorrow, helping you synchronize all your social connections and place them on a Friends Map. With your Uwemi profile you can, for the first time, see where your online friends live. This makes your entire social capital even stronger, as you can now take that online world and place it on a real map.
What can you do with Uwemi?
Uwemi is a platform integrating your social profiles.* When you link your Uwemi profile with any social network, the friends you have on that site will be mapped out according to their state and city registered on that site. Then, you can insert their exact address and a flag will appear, marking the name and address of that friend.
With this Friends Map you also get the data needed to plan out a trip to your friend’s place, but unlike the regular Maps services, with your Uwemi profile you can get some great details:
• What are some cool places to visit on the way;
• How much this trip will cost you;
• The time needed to get there;
• The exact mileage.
With your Uwemi profile, you can finally synchronize your Facebook friends with Google Maps, and take that map on your GPS or Smartphone (coming soon!). In this regard, Uwemi allows you to actually own the data of your social profiles, wherever you go.
